( 07:00 hrs) Pick up from Airport or hotel in Delhi/NCR/Gurugram & drive to Agra
You will be early morning picked up from your hotel in Delhi and transferred to the Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station to board the Gatimaan Express (air-conditioned & India’s fastest train) for Agra. Breakfast will be served onboard. The breakfast is delicious and copious in quantity to qualify as brunch.
Agra is a city in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, some 200 km from the Indian capital city of Delhi. Agra has three UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort in the city and Fatehpur Sikri nearby. There are also many other buildings and tombs from Agra's days of glory as the capital of the Mughal Empire. The sites are some of the wonders of the world and no trip to India is complete without at least one visit to the Taj. The earliest reference to Agra is in the ancient epic, the Mahabharata, while Ptolemy was the first person to call it by its modern name. Agra was the Mughal capital at one point.
(09:50 hrs.) Meet Agra tour guide on arrival – Proceed to visit Taj Mahal
Our representative & Agra tour guide will receive you at the Agra Railway Station. An air-conditioned private vehicle with chauffeur will pick you up from the station and drive to Taj Mahal, the love monument & very identity of Agra. Accompanied by your local guide, visit the famous white marble monument, world symbol of love. The Taj Mahal is the central part of this excursion. As per our standard plan the sightseeing of Taj Mahal will continue for two hours (09:50 Hrs- 11:50 Hrs).
The construction of Taj Mahal started in the year 1631 and it took approximately 22 years to build it. An epitome of love, it made use of the services of 22,000 laborers and 1,000 elephants. It was built entirely out of white marble, which was brought in from all over India and central Asia. ( 11:50 hrs) Proceed to visit Red Fort of Agra
After the Taj Mahal, the excursion leads to the Agra Fort which was once the capital city of powerful Mughal rulers where the architecture of red sandstone tells the tales of glory of the past. Accompanied by Agra tour guide, as per our standard plan, the sightseeing of Agra Fort will continue for One and a half hours (11:50 Hrs- 13:30 Hrs).
Agra Fort is a massive structure of red sandstone and white marble dating back to the Mughal period. Monument is inscribed in the UNESCO patrimony. Agra Fort is built alongside the Yamuna River and stretches almost 2.5 km. It consists of a wall built in red sandstone and several buildings inside. The wall has 2 gates, the Delhi Gate and the Amar Singh Gate. The fort is surrounded by a 70 feet high wall It is home to the beautiful Pearl Mosque and Numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am and Moti Masjid Later it was used by his son Jahangir as the seat of power. With four gates the Fort is enclosed by a double barricaded wall of red sand stone. The Jahangir Mahal is reached through an impressive gateway and its inner courtyard consists of beautiful halls, profuse carvings on stone, exquisitely carved heavy brackets, piers and cross beams.

Now it’s lunch time after sightseeing of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Take lunch at your own. You can choose from multi cuisine or specialty restaurants or buffet lunch in 5* hotel. Have a sumptuous buffet lunch that awaits you.
(14:30 hrs) Explore local market
You can explore markets for handicrafts in evenings, during the last leg of excursion to Agra. Take advantage of this excursion to Agra to stroll around the local markets and discover the local crafts as well as the art of pruning marble. Depending upon your wish, you can explore local market of Agra, famous for intricately carved marble products, handicraft articles, rugs, carpets and jewellery. Visit a marble factory to see the beautiful inlay of precious and semi precious stones into the marble. Normally market visit is of an hour (14:30 Hrs- 15:30 Hrs) but depending upon your wish, it can be reduced, removed or elongated.
(14:30 hrs) Proceed to Fatehpur Sikri
Excursion to Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" which was the estranged capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. The places to see within Fatehpur Sikri are numerous. From the Buland Darwaja, the main entrance to this ancient city, to the Tomb of Shaikh Salim Chisti, there are numerous noteworthy monuments. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the historic monuments, which is timeless and has rightly earned the status of a world heritage site.
(15:30 hrs ) Proceed for sunset view of Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bag
Now, drive to Mehtab Bag across River Yamuna. Agra tour guide will accompany you and take you to Mehtab Bag. Visit to Mehtab Bagh for a view of the Taj Mahal at sunset is a cherished moment of a photographer. It will be an experience you will not soon forget! Watch the sun set on the white marble of the sublime Taj Mahal, on the other side of the Yamuna River. It will take about one and a half hour (15:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs).
( 17:00 hrs) Transfer to Agra Railway Station
After completing the sightseeing of Agra, you will be transferred to Agra Railway station board Delhi-bound Gatimaan Express train. The train departs from Agra at 17:50 Hours. Dinner will be served onboard.
( 19:30 hrs) Departure to New Delhi airport or hotel
You will be received by our chauffeur at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi and transferred to hotel or the airport to board onward flight.
